Showcase alum and towering 7’2 Swedish big man William Berg is on the move. After spending two seasons at Purdue, Berg has officially transferred to Wichita State, bringing his size and skill to the Shockers’ frontcourt.

Berg, a native of Sweden, was part of one of our very first Swedish showcases, where he began to make a name for himself with his length, touch, and potential. Those who saw him early on have closely followed his development over the years, and this next step marks an exciting chapter in his basketball journey.

Wichita State adds an experienced and physically imposing presence in Berg, who looks poised to make an impact in the American Athletic Conference.
