Player Statement
My name is Ziggy Poczkaj, I am a Danish player who played at DME Wisconsin National team where we competed in the GrindSession my senior year. I also graduated with a 4.3 GPA. For my post-grad year, I’ve made the decision to play professionally in Denmark to continue my development. That said, I remain extremely hungry and determined to earn an opportunity to play college basketball in the States.
I am 6’5″ lefty combo guard with an elite smooth shot with consistent mechanics. I am a natural scorer who can score on all 3-levels at a very high level, with that said I have a very high basketball IQ and excellent court vision.
I have a Team-first mentality with a relentless work ethic, I am a true gym-rat, coachable, driven and always improving.
Before going to the States, I’ve played at the highest youth level in Denmark and won multiple championships and MVP honors, while also playing in men’s leagues.
I’ve also participated in u15/u16/u17 Danish National Teams.
