Basketball has always been more than a sport to me. For me it’s my family and my foundation. I got my first basketball when I was a newborn and started playing as soon as I could use my arms to throw. My father is a former professional player and also my coach. Basketball is how we connect, how we talk, and how he has helped me grow. It’s in my blood and a large reason why I wish to continue growing as a player.

On the court, I’m good at remaining calm under pressure and focused on making smart decisions. I work to create flow in our offense by involving my teammates and keeping the game moving. I contribute on both ends of the floor, with solid one-on-one defense and by helping secure defensive rebounds. No matter if I’m on the court or on the bench, I always support my teammates and bring positive energy to the team.

Off the court, I’m a positive and social person. I’ve always enjoyed being around people and I believe one of my strengths is that I can make friends of any age, whether that is my 1,5 year old cousin or my parents’ colleagues. In school, my favorite subjects are Sports and History. While I wish I had even more time to spend with my friends, I get the most fun out of hanging with all my friends and team mates in practice.

In Sweden, basketball is still a quite small but resilient sport. I want to see and experience the culture where the sport I love is celebrated and respected. That is why I want to play in the U.S. I want to grow as a player, push my limits, and be part of something bigger.
