Player Statement
I am a positive, social, and active person who is passionate about basketball. I also enjoy golf, skiing, swimming, and spending time with family and friends. I adapt easily to new environments and enjoy meeting people with different backgrounds and experiences.
In college, I want to grow both as a player and a person. I hope to learn new skills, experience the culture, and prove my abilities on and off the court. Coming from Europe, I’m excited to discover the differences and similarities in basketball and academics.
I’ve played in many leagues, including LYBL (Latvian Youth Basketball League), EGBL, BBBL, and the OlyBet adult league. I’ve also competed in FIBA 3×3 tournaments and won 3-point contests. I have a nice mid range jump shot and can take defenders off the dribble and drive to the basket, equally comfortable dribbling the ball up the court or posting up under the basket. I am an unselfish team player who has great vision and can create plays for my teammates. I am quite an aggressive defender who can guard positions 1-5.
In school, I enjoy subjects like chemistry, English, German, politics, and geography.
